The week of the 22 at Computech is Drug Free Week. This is one of my favorite weeks because we don't have to wear uniforms. Each day has its own theme. On Monday the theme was "being drug free is no sweat" so on Monday we got to wear our favorite pair of sweats. Tuesday was "we are too bright for drugs" that day we were wearing neon or bright colors. Wednesday was"drugs aren't cool, be different so we had to wear mix and match clothing  Thursday was crazy hair day  Today Friday, Is don't do drugs and stay in the game, so we are wearing our favorite jersey. 
      I think that this week is so important because drugs are becoming a big problem. I think that our school raises awareness in a fun way. We have fun and are crazy, but we all know, and or learning that drugs can ruin your life and it's important to know that the will. I encourage all students to have fun during drug free week and to live a drug free life. 

     In drama club we are working on the play called Cinderella.I bet a lot of you know the story and know exactitude how it goes. but you probably don't know how we do it. The stepsisters are both boys. The price and the Royal Arch Duke are both girls.We try to make it different than what is considered  "normal" because we don't want to be compared to other group who are doing the same play. We want to be different and unique.
     I play the Arch Duke Josef which is basically the prince's right hand man. I pass out all of the innovation and keep the Prince company  I have to memorize all my lines and come up with hand motions and make sure that I make the play more enjoyable for the viewers. That some times can be a lot of work.But in the end we will have a great play and we will have a lot of fun doing it  

   I love to play soccer. Its my favorite sport. Me and my team have a game this weekend. we have been training all week for this game, and I hope we win.Soccer Saturdays are always my favorite. I love the feel of the fresh grass on my cold feet and little drops of dew that splash on to my face. The early morning sun warming our faces, I just love it. 
    The only thing i don't like is having to get up super early and drive an hour to our game field. But when we get to our field, I meet up with my coach and team-mates. I have such a great with them we are like a soccer family. We spend a lot of time with each other. Usually after games we have big potlucks together. each person brings something to share with the team and their family. And once we are done we go home and prepare for another long week of training and games.

    In computers class Mr. Kimbley is having us do an online safety course called My Digital Life. It is an website that teaches you how to handle situations and to help you stay safe online. It helps you complete different levels each with a different topic. Such as texting and driving, picking out the right computer, protecting yourself from identity thief etc,etc,etc. It helps you in ways that feel  somewhat like games. it is a fun way to remind yourself to be mindful of your time online. It has also become more aware that a lot more people are being cyber bullied and how to recognized it and to help people who are being cyber bullied.  It has helped me out a lot.
     It also helps you understand and choose what courses to take if you want to have a that involvestechnology. You might not think that being a teacher is a job that deals with technology,but it really does. A teacher might use a computer to teach a lesson. techology has also helped writers. It has become eiser for them to write, share and publish books. So if you are planning to have a professtion with techology or if you just use the computer for fun  I recommend this site to you. 

  A lot goes on after school at Computech. Right now I am involved in Drama Club. It is a lot of fun and I think it is worth my time. Currently we are not working on a play, but we soon will. We will be doing new versions of old classics. It is a lot of fun to hang out with the club and do funny things that will help you get used to being in front of people and not laughing. One of  my favorite things that we have done so far was the commercials. Our task was to make something that it wasn't. Like our group had a jar of marbles and we changed it into a object that gave you different accents. We presented  it to the class. It was a lot of fun.
     Another thing that we have done was a game were you act out a scene and someone else yells freeze. and they all have to stop. The person who called out freeze comes up and takes someones spot and starts a new scene . It  helps you become better at acting on the spot and going with the flow. It helped me a lot. I love drama and I hope more people join.

    Friday is the best day of the week. Epesially at Computech. we dont have normal school days on Fridays. First and second period went normal. But third and fourth were a liitlte strange. I have core with Mrs. Baird 3rd and 4th period. Today we did a simmulation. A simmulation is were you act out things that happened in history. Today we did the Roman Empire. We acted out how all the trading was done and how the emipre grew. Until it grew too muchand fell. It was alot of fun.
     At lunch we had an "event" this weeks was the cheese ball toss. the cheese ball toss is were one person put shaving cream on thier face while the other two throw cheese ball and try to have them stick to your face. It was awesome, people had shaving cream all over the place cheese ball where flying the music was blaring. a good time was had by all. Brovo leadrship and I cant wait for the next one.
    

     There is an upcoming presidental election. A lot of people have asked my opinion one it but what i usally say that i really dont care who wins. I hear my parents talking about it and watching upates on the news. All talking about who they want to win. I see signs all over the place sayinng vote for this person or this other person. I dont really get involved to much with it I think that we will have plenty of time to worry about that stuff later.Right now i want to be a kid and have fun. Not spending my time thinking about problems that dont effect me. 
    Sure when im older ill vote and think about who I'll vote for. I might even run for president. I personally dont think that kids should be worring about poltics. I think that job is for adults. We dont need to be worring about stuff happing in other countries.I need to be worring about next weeks math test. but thats just my opinion.

      When you start middle school you probally are nervous about something. For me it was math class. I is not my favorite subject in school. I was afraid that  the teacher was going to hate me and that I would get all the problems wrong. But that didn't happen at all.  My teacher Mrs. Pope is very helpful and is willing to stay and help me with my homework and any other problems. To my surpise the it wasnt hard at all. so if you have any first day fears know that everything wilol be all right

     Some of my old friends used to be bullies and call people names ect... We Know now that bulling is a big problem. So when Some of my friend would suggest going and teasing someone I would change the subject or not  get involved When they started to bully me I would leave before it got too bad and tell the teacher. If you or someone you know Is being bullied I storngly recomed that you get help from a teacher, parent or other adult. If one of your friends is being a bully them tell them that it is not okay and to stop it if it coninutes then get help from an adult. At Computech I know that there are many helpfull  people on campus, and sometimes its not an adult, you can ask another student they will probally help.

    We all know that computers are changing the way we do things. they change the way that we work,play, talk,and live. A lot of us are on the all the time, we have them with us where ever we go. they have become part of everything. At Computech, computers is a mantitory class. I think that all schools will start using them more and more. Here at Computech, we will be using our computers in all most every class. Hopefully every student will have an enjoyable ecperiance with computers. computers also are used in other things besides school, we use them at home for homework. almost every night we need to get online to do homework, watch videos, research information, and  play educational games. In the future, I think that we will use a most no paper at all it will all be done with computers. They have aready and will continue to change our lives
