One of my electives is art with Mrs. Pishonie. I love having art right in the middle of the day, you can just sit there and draw. You don't have to sit there and work out some really difficult math problem or wirte an ten page long essay. We just finished up a suplture made from cardboard, clay and wire. We had to have our sulpture show movment and the had to stand up on thier own. Mine project was a girl skipping through a park.
The first project so far has been my favorite. We made a radio design using a monogram that we designed form our inisials. We had to create a focal point and make it balanced. What I mean balance is one side has to be the same as the other. So if I had pink and yellow on one side pink and yellow had to be on the other side. I really had fun with this project. I love desinging my own monogram and coloring the end project. for me I think the harest part was lineing everything up so it was even on both sides. I love having art for an elective.

Bonjour! My other elective is French One with Madam Hutchison. it has been a lot of fun. We just finished Chapter one. In chapter one we learned how to express likes and dislikes about activities. We learned how to introuduce our selves, tell people how old we are and what we like to eat and do.
So far this class has been preatty easy thanks to Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone has made it easier to learn what the words mean and how to correctly pronounce them. Rosetta Stone uses a method woth out transtlating the word that you need to know. It showes you a picture and then tells you how to say it. For example, it will show you a picture of green grass and then the voice over will say " vert" which means green in French. You then will have to say the word correctly. Sometimes you will have to match the wirtten word to the picture.I really enjoy useing Rosetta Stone. It has really helped

Yesterday afternoon my mom, brother Everette and I went to the fair. We had a graet time. The fair isn't just for playing games and eating fried foods, it is also a learing expierience. They have many bulidings set up with educational stuff. In one of the bulilding was set up to teach and show you unsual plants. They had weird mini trees called bosi. they were really cool. you can tell how much work these people put into thier work.
Another one of my favorite bulidings was a feature in which they had different instumunts an danimals from different countries. They had them sep up with information facts about the instument and how to use it. Each booth was decoraited with trational things. Such as Egypt, They had a pharoh head, like the ones in the pyrimds. They had a deset secne with cacti and live turtles. My favorite by far in that buliding was the maccaws. They are bright, colorful and loud. I love those kind of birds.
I reconend that if you have time while you are at they fair to go to the barn. You can see all kind of animals. Pigs, cows, chickens, bunnies and sheep. That is one of of my favorites becuse our friend have a farm and show off thier pigs. It's all ways fun to cheer them on as they are being judged . It is a great time esecilly when they win all kinds big, fancy ribbons. I love going to the fair and I recconend that if you have time to go to they Fresno Fair.
