In pre-algebra we are learning to be prepared to take algebra in 8th grade. Mrs. Pope is teaching us algebraic equations. An algebraic equations is a math problems with numbers and variables. We work with pateners, do homework and take tests. We work with fraction, integers and inequalities. My goal in this class is to get good grades on all of my tests and to learn lots.

We had to do a series of tasks in math. We had the choice to choose which ones that we wanted, but we had to do at least two out of the four choices. We then had to make a presentation with our partner and then present it.
My partner and I chose to do a Prezi on the yogurt task. We first had to complete the task and then we made our presentation based on out work. In our Prezi we explained how to work out the problem. When we were done with the presentaion we presented to the class. |

In the middle of each chapter Mrs. Pope gives us a three point quiz to make sure that we know what we learned. When I took that quiz the first time I didn't get a very good score but Mrs. Pope lets us retake the quiz with similar problems until you get a good grade and get a better grade.
This reminded me of something Mr. Kimbley said. He told us that doing something over until we get it right. that is called mastering the learning. It was a normal pen and paper test but it was a challage for me because I got frustrated at times because I couldn't get the right answers. This quiz helped me learn the chapter better because I took it more that once.
