The Scientific revolution was a very important time in history . At this time many important people were alive. People like Galileo and Sir Isaac Newton. These people made very important discorveries that effect us today.
Galileo was one of the most famous people that lived during this time. Galileo said that instead of the earth being the center of the universe the sun is. Not too many people were pleased with him saying this. The chuch thought that this was going against the bible. But the bible doesn't say anything about the earth being the center of the universe. Nobody wanted to listen to what he said. They all thought the Aristolte was correct and he said that the earth was the center. Everyone didn't believe him even though he had the proof. Only a few people believed him until after his death.
