For Thanksgiving we had a whole week off of school. My family and I went out of town to our grandparents house in Chico. The first day that we were there my grandma and I made chocolate chip cookies. We had a lot of fun. On Thursday we made turkey and all the trimmings. I was really good.
My favorite thing that we did while we were up there was hike in a park . My dad ,brother and I went for a long hike near a river. We had to hike up rocks and hills to get to the water. Once we got to the water, we sat on some rocks,in the sun and had some snacks. When we were done, we hiked back up the hill and went back home. We had a lot of fun over Thanksgiving break. We spent time with family, cooked and played games.
