The way that we grow is by cells dividing. The way that cells divide is called mitosis. Cells go through many stages during mitosis. The first stage is interphase. Most of the time cells are in interphase. During interphase, the cell grows to its full size and makes copies of your DNA. Prophase is next. Prophase is when chromatin condenses inside the nucleus and the nuclear membrane starts to break down. Metaphase is when chromosomes start to line up in the center of the cell. During anaphase all the chromosomes break apart and move to each end of the cell. Telophase is when the chromosomes stretch out and a nuclear membrane begins to form at each end of the cell. The last phase is when the cell breaks in two and each cell start to form new cell walls, which is called cytokinesis.
After the cell comes apart you now have two new daughter cells. The new cells begin to go back to coping DNA a starts to become prepared to go through mitosis and make new cells. Without mitosis, you would not be able to grow and thrive. This is the main way that animals grow. Other single-celled organisms do not go through mitosis. Single-celled organisms are only made of one cell and don't need to make more.

Every living thing is made up of one or more cells. There are different kinds of cells. The cell of a bacteria is different than a plant and human cell because bactria are made up of only one cell. The single-celled oranganism does not have a nucleus and the DNA is in a long tube at the end of the cell.
Plant and animal cells are a simmalar, but still have some differences. For example they both have a nucleus and cytoplasm and a vacual. But on the other hand plants have a larger vacual  cloroplast, and a cell wall animal cells have none of these things. animal cells don't need cloroplasts because this oganelle is were photosythisis happens. Animals don't need this because we eat food to get energy. Parts are very important to plant cells and also to animal cells too. Animals breathe oxygen. Oxygen is a watse product of photosythisis. So cloroplast is important too all living things.

Each year the science teachers have you make a model of a cell made completly of food. My partners and I make it out of cake and candies. We were given 20 minutes to build it in class and then Mrs. Poole came around and took a picture of our cell and then asked us questions. it was a lot of fun.
This project has helped me learn more about the cell and how the cell works. It helped me to learn and memorize that parts of a cell and what its function is. It helped me because we had to study diagrams of a cell and then replacate that and make it colorful and it had to look like a cell. When Mrs.Poole came around after we took a picture she asked us quations about parts of a cell

Everything that is alive is made of one or more cells. Cells are made of many parts. som eof those parts are more impportant than others , but just because that its not the most important it dosen't mean that that partis not inportant. All cells are needed for daily life. All of the parts of the cell are very important. The cell as a whole is very important, cells are the smallest form of life. Without them we would not be able to carry our life.
I think that the most important part of a cell is the nucleus. The nucleus it the brain of the cell it also carries DNA. The cell membrane is also very important because it controls what gets n and out of the cell. choroplast is only found in plants. It is where photosynthisis tae place. It provides food for the cell. photosythisis is the procese in witch blants convert the sun's energy in to sugars making food.
