-        Last Monday I wrote about changing fractions to decimals. This week we are writing about how to change Decimals into fractions. Fractions are really easy and simple to learn. Today I will teach you how to do my favorite way of converting decimals into fractions.

Let's say that you have the decimal .25 ,and you need to have it in fraction form. The first thing that you need to do is remove the decimal point. So you now have the number 25. You now need to put 25 over 100. You need to either have 10, 100, or 1000 as your denominator- It has to be larger. After you would have to divide by 5. So you would have 5/25. Reduce it again and get 1/4. .25 equals 1/4.

Lets say that you have a problem that requres you to convert a fraction into a decimal. I personally like working with decimals better  than with frations so it is important that we know how to do this. It is very simple when you know how.
There are many ways that you can do this but for me- the way that I was taught- the simple division problem. Lets say that you have the fraction 1/2 and you need it in the form of a decimal. For me I don't have to do the math for this one because you will eventually memorize them. To convert 1/2 in to a decimal you will have to devide the bottom into the top. At first this might seem a little wierd because the bigger number is in the inside.

Lets imagine that we own a resturant and we have to order food regularly. We always want to find the best deals. We have run out of bread  and we have to order 20 loaves of bread. At Billy's Food Supply, you can get 10 loaves for 15 and at Jack's Food you can  get 20 loaves for 35$ whict buy would bet better and how would you find this out?
I think that the easiest way is to set up a ratio. So this ration you wuld have to fin the unit rate for each buy. the first one would be 10/15 and the second would be  20/40. You would need to simplyfiy these the first would be 2/3 and the second would be
