Pi when you hear it you probably think of pumpkin or apple. But this kind of pi is a series of numbers. 3.14 is what we call pi. We are talking about this because pi day is coming up soon. March 14 is pi day.
Pi is very important. It is a used in a formula to help you find the circumfrance  of a circle. You would mulitiply the diamer by 3.14 to get the circumfrance. You can also d this by the radus. you would then use the formula R*3.14*2=C (R is the radius and C is the circumfrance) Pi is a number that will go on forever. No one has found the end of pi. Some people try but never find the very end. It is an

Slopes

     The slope is the rise over the run. What is the rise? What is the run? The rise is the change from one point to another on the Y axis. The run is the change in the X axis. The slope is usually in the form of a fraction. Lets say that you have the ordered pairs (2,5) and (3,7) what is the slope? 
     TO find the slope you start on the first pair. (2,5) then you count how much change is in the X axis in this example there is a change of 1. So one goes on the bottom of your fraction. Now you want to find the change in the Y axis which in this example is 2 ,so your fraction is now one over two. That is the slope.
